NxTopReady proxy issue.

The following pop-up window is displayed when running NxTopReady.
"No internet connection, please restore connection and check compatibility"
Looks like NxTopReady doesn't take into account the proxy settings of the internet connection.
Thanks for the feedback I will check with the NxTop Ready team about proxy support.
Hi,
Any update on the proxy configuration, is there a way configure proxy access in NxTop engine ?
Hi VC Team
Is there any news on whether the NX Top Engine will support using a proxy server to connect to the Internet?
I am using NX Top Engine v 3.1 Beta 6 in standalone mode (ie not connected to a NX Top Center Server).
When I click to Check for Updates (Spanner + screwdriver icon in bottom left of the Launcher) I receive a message saying "The Management Server could not be contacted". When I go to Control Panel of the launcher, the server is nxbr.virtualcomputer.com:443
When using Google Chrome in the NX Top Connect VM, I cannot browse any webpages because Google Chrome doesn't allow you to specify a proxy server - it uses the settings of the system (but unfortunately it cant recognise what NX Top Connect is). The message it shows when I click on "Change Proxy Settings" is "Either your system is not supported or there was a problem launching your system configuration. But you can still configure via the command line. Please see man google-chrome for more information on flags and environment variables."
Do you know if you can change the Google Chrome build in NX Top Connect to allow the user to specify a Proxy Setting when they are using NX Top Engine in stand-alone mode, and have a policy setting in NX Top Center to configure it automatically (and prevent the end-user from changing it).
Thanks

HTTP proxy support in NxTop Ready and NxTop Connect are features under consideration for a future release. For NxTop Ready, if you can't submit the report because of a HTTP proxy, you can send the report directly to the support team for evaluation.
The 4.0 release now supports automatic proxy detection for Windows VMs in both NAT and Bridged mode (and, of course, you can manually configure proxy information if required in Windows).
The next release of the engine should include support for automatic proxy detection for Chrome running in NxTop Connect. This will support both DNS and DHCP based WPAD proxy detection.
After that, we plan on adding UI to allow manual configuration of proxy information in the engine.
