Deleting a Virtual Machine
Delete a virtual machine (VM) to remove it from the NxTop Center. Deleting a VM does not remove any components from the NxTop Center Software Library.
Notes
- You cannot delete a VM if there are any users assigned to it. Unassign all users before deleting a VM.
- You cannot "undelete" a VM. Be sure your organization is finished with a VM before deleting it.
To delete a VM, use the following steps:
Step One
Click on the Virtual Machines branch of the navigation tree, then select the VM to delete.
Step Two
Click Delete in the right-hand Actions Panel.
Step Three
Click Yes on the Confirmation popup to confirm the deletion.
You're Finished!
NxTop Center checks that no user is currently assigned to the VM.
Deletion will fail if any users are still assigned to the VM. Unassign all users before deleting a VM.
The VM is deleted. It is removed from the list of VMs.
