How NxTop Organizes Disk Space
Disk storage space used on a NxTop on a client computer is organized as three partitioned drives within the partition allocated for that NxTop. In addition, the NxTop Engine captures changes to the system disk (C:) and the user disk (U:) during a session in separate differencing disks. Other user data that does not need to be backed up is stored on the local disk (L:). The Drive letters assigned to the user and local disks are designed to avoid conflicts with CD/DVD drives and with application installations. The purpose of each of these drives and differencing disks is explained below.
