NxTop Center Diagnostics

The administrator can request a package of diagnostic data from NxTop Center. The server compiles a selection of log files to help diagnose issues in NxTop Center, and packs it in a zip file. The zip file can then be opened and the contents examined. These packages can quickly help support personnel diagnose problems.

To request a diagnostics packet for NxTop Center:

1. In NxTop Center, click Overview>NxTop Center>Configuration on the navigation panel and select the Diagnostics tab.
2. Click the Request Diagnostic action.
   NxTop Center produces the diagnostic package momentarily.
3. The tab displays:
   
   • the date and time the last diagnostics package was compiled (if any)
   • a link to the latest diagnostic packet compiled.
4. Click the link to open the zip file into a folder view.
   The component files can then be examined.
