Recycling a Computer

A computer that has been killed and is listed in the Lost or Stolen Computers folder cannot be re-registered in that NxTop Center until it has been recycled for further use. If the NxTop Administrator is sure the computer has been recovered, use the Recycle action to remove the computer from the Lost or Stolen Computers folder, and make it available to be registered.

Note: The Recycle action does not recover any previous data or virtual machines. It changes the computer's status so that NxTop Center will use it.

To recycle a computer that has been killed or deleted, use these steps:

  1. Click Computers > Lost or Stolen Computers in the navigation panel, and select the computer to recycle.

     

  2. Click Recycle (the Recycle action).
     
    The Recycle confirmation pop-up appears.

  3. Click Yes to recycle the computer.

The computer is removed from the Lost or Stolen Computers folder. The computer can be registered on NxTop Center.
