Separate SSL Certificate for NxTop Center Console
When Nxtop Center is installed, the installer takes the SSL information you enter and creates two SSL certificates, one for NxTop Center and one for NxTop Center Console. Both certificates have the same values, making them identical.
You can use a separate SSL certificate for the Console by replacing the certificate file.
Steps
| 1. | Get a a new valid SSL certificate for your management console. You can request from the supplier to provide the certificate in a JKS (Java Key Store) file. |
| 2. | Rename the file to mgmt_console.jks |
| 3. | Copy the file to the Tomcat SSL folder: c:/Program Files (x186)/Apache/Tomcat/ssl (default) |
| 4. | Stop and restart NxTop Center service so it will pick up the new certificate value. |
